so last night I had a dream that an old friend I don’t talk to much anymore and I were in a homestuck art course

I got to class late and apparently we were having an exam? our two assignments were to write a short essay on the latest update and do an oil painting of Karkat in an action pose

most of the dream was me agonizing over cool action poses. I think I ended up drawing Hagrid on his motorcycle??

I swear my homestuck-fanart-mind is always stuck like five updates in the past

I should be drawing rose<3kanaya sloppy makeout scenes or karkat or dave or terezi or even godtier eridan with fluffy shorts because you don’t even know how much I love fluffy shorts

I was all psyched to buy myself a new tablet for my birthday in two weeks, but then my laptop charger started smoking and smelling weird, and part of the plastic on the wire melted away. and the wire was bright red. which I think is not a good sign. 8(

so now I’m relegated to my old xp desktop, which I actually think I prefer anyway?? it’s not so bad. buuut I need to get another charger so I can salvage all my files from my laptop ughugh why are chargers so expensive…???

god it is just killing me how much roxy looks up to her mom in contrast with how much rose demeaned hers

So I got up this morning this afternoon and suddenly I have a bunch of new followers??

Um, that’s a lot of you. More than I ever expected. I’m so completely flattered that you’re all here I just kind of uhhhhh .////.

I’m usually pretty quiet on here, and all I ever post is my homestuck fanart, but I might reblog more stuff and say more stuff and try to be generally more active? I mean, everybody on tumblr seems p cool, and I really want to get to know more people. I hope that’s not a problem… uwu;

Dirk, yes, muscles. Jake, yes, muscles on a kid mind. Roxy seems to definitely be more curvy and sexy than bony. And Jane… idk, plump seems like it’d be hard to survive the game. Maybe a tad bit of chub

My personal opinions: -Jane: I like the idea of pudgy Jane, I think it just suits her -Roxy: the wired skinny girl is what I picture best. -Dirk: fit but skinny. Check out “ectomorph’ body types. I picture him as a very fit ecto. -Jake: athletic

OMIGOSH I just looked up ectomorph, and that’s pretty much exactly how I sketched him. In fact, I think all of these pretty much fit the first way I sketched them. I guess we’re on the same wavelength. :D

Now if I nap all day too, maybe I’ll regain my sanity…thank you for not judging me too harshly OTL ;^;

what am i doing

So I have legit internal strife over how to draw the alpha kids. Like there are so many body type choices I don’t even know which one to go with?!

• Pudgy-round Jane is so totes adorbs that I always start drawing her like that, but I really like the idea of classy slender Jane too? Like pearls and pretty fingers and now I’m picturing Audrey Hepburn?
• With Roxy, I always want to go with super-skinny bony wiry energy all over the place, but then I see a picture of some bootylicious Roxy and I’m like hot DAMN how can I NOT draw that?!?
• And Dirk. DIRK. It’s just, he’s Bro! He’s gotta be muscular! S u p e r toned and awesome biceps to show off rockin’ tattoo and all that. B) But then I start drawing him and it’s like no muscle, all angles, adorably awkward and still somehow so cool. It’s most def all in the shades.
• Jake is always muscular all the time. Except when he’s little kid-ish and cute like John. 

This is what I think about at four in the morning. I have a bio test in three and a half hours. What am I doing with my life. Why am I posting this. :’)
